8th KINOTEKA Polish Film Festival

Riverside Studios, The Barbican, BFI Southbank, Tate Modern, Prince Charles Cinema, Tricycle Cinema, West London Synagogue 

Now in it’s 8th year, the Kinoteka Polish Film Festiwal, returns to London with another stellar line up offering up the very best of Polish culture spanning film, music and the visual arts.

The Kinoteka Polish Film Festiwal returns for its 8th and most exciting edition offering up the very best of Polish culture spanning film, music and the visual arts. Kinoteka’s programme highlights include:

Thur 4 March 7pm at Riverside Studios

Kinoteka Opening Gala Screening of darkly comic Reverse and the Q&A with the film director Borys Lankosz and the producer Jerzy Kapuscinski.

The exhibition will be showing film posters from all over the world from Roman Polanski’s films, which he directed and in which he appeared as an actor.

The exhibition will be showing a unique collection of the posters, which accompanied those of Roman Polanski’s films with music composed by Krzysztof Komeda.

Tomasz Stanko concert and premiere screening of Quay Brothers new film Maska. Legendary Polish Free Jazz trumpeter will perform a concert at the Barbican, giving his personal tribute to Krzysztof Komeda’s music.

Special guest of the evening Justyna Steczkowska.

Anna Molska at Tate Modern. Hot and upcoming Polish artist takes the performing body as her primary medium, drawing on the history of the Soviet bloc in her short video works.
